I am a Knuckle Light user for about 8 years now. I got my first set in 2017 and I still use them. I have recently bought a back up not in box because I wouldn't want to run with out them. I run early mornings (5:00 a.m.) so in winter in northern ND I have no light, sometimes even the moon doesn't show up. These give me excellent vision, but more importantly it gives me safety with drivers that are on the road at that time. They fit very comfortably in my hands and on my knuckles. From mid September to late March I don't leave home without them.

I upgraded to this Advanced version after my old Knuckle lights stopped working. I can see so much more with these lights. I love them and I love how they are magnetic so I can hold both in one had when needed. These are fantastic and help me see when I run before the sun comes up. They sent me a free light to put on my back to make me even safer. Love this product and company!

I just purchased my 3rd set of Knuckle Lights over the last 8 or so years. I typically run 5 days a week between 5-10 miles per day. I use Knuckle Lights during those runs between October and March when the days are shorter in the Northeast. They recharge quickly and keep bright on the brightest setting throughout my entire run. My first 2 sets began having difficulty charging after about 4 years (seasons) of use but for the value that is good enough for me and will continue using.

I love my Knuckle Lights. They are super bright, sturdy and convenient. Rechargeable battery life is good. I am able to get through several runs using the brightest setting without the need for a charge. They have never left me in the dark. To speak to the fantastic customer service: after 11 months of use, one of my lights was showing signs of a battery bulge. I emailed asking if the warranty would cover it and got a response faster than I would have ever expected. Representative explained the issue (uncommon but known) and provided a completely hassle free replacement provided. Couldn't be more pleased with the product and the company behind it.

I've run with Knuckle Lights since the original version came out quite a few years ago. This version is easily the best and worth the extra money, which will otherwise be spent on batteries or fiddling to swap out rechargeable ones frequently. These are not as bright as many headlamps, but I never found that a problem, as I have pretty good night vision. When running on smooth roads and paths, I can even comfortably switch to lower power, though not on trails.
My only complaint is that the straps are difficult to adjust and fasten. As I switch between bare hands and gloves of different thicknesses, I've had to adjust them and often find them popping loose. One of mine has eventually broken--not the strap itself, but the little button that fastens it. If they sold replacement straps I wouldn't complain as much, but it looks like I'll have to buy a brand new pair, though I may be able to jury-rig a closure in the meantime.

Love Knuckle Lights. So bright that I could even give one to someone who for got to bring a light, and we were both able to run safely. Unfortunately, after a relatively few number of uses (once a week or for two years, only in winter when the sun sets early) one stopped charging and was no longer worked. I contacted Knuckles, received an apology with no questions asked, and a whole new set was mailed to me immediately. Definitely a great product with a great team behind it. Thanks, Kunckle Lights!

I received a set of the original Knuckle Lights for Christmas for running after dark. So far I've only used them for walking my dog at night. They are so much easier than carrying a flashlight with the dog and brighter too. However, one of the lights suddenly stopped working shortly after I received them. After a quick chat with the Knuckle Lights people, I received a new set to replace the defective light within a couple of days. They only required a photo of the light in question, so I didn't have to return it. Very happy.

I’m an early morning runner. I live in an established neighborhood with mature trees. The root system of the trees often grows under the sidewalks and pushed up the surface creating numerous trip hazards which I’ve experienced. With the knuckle lights, I’m able to see the surface right in front of me and what up ahead or to my right or left. I had been using a headlamp for years and that requires me to keep my head down to see to sidewalk which creates an awkward running form. Knuckle lights are the way to go.

As advertised, they are brighter than the battery powered model. I've had the battery model for a couple of years and am glad to have the rechargeable version. Since most of my nighttime running is in the cold winter months, regular batteries don't last very long. These seem slightly heavier, but are easier to adjust. Good product.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's a matter of getting used to them, but the tendency is to run with clench fists so as to hold them in place, even though it is not necessary because they fit snug and will not fall off. Regardless, I can't help myself and I clench my fists anyway.

I walk against the traffic in streets that mostly have street lights. I've been holding both lights in my right hand with the straps over my knuckles and the lights in my palm. I mostly use the flashing mode and the swinging lights illuminate my lower legs to help cars see me. When I cross side streets or I can't see the pavement well, I just lift my arm to direct the beam where I want it to go. The lights are a great safety supplement to my reflective vest and its flashing red lights. The charging stand and the magnetic connection are both great features.

I've tried to use other hand held flashlights but they were not easy to carry at the correct angle while running. The knuckle lights are so easy to hold and shine very brightly. I only need to carry one during a run, so I leave the other in the charging base. While running, I sometimes where a running belt then I will attach the knuckle light around the belt. I also take them in my backpack while hiking and take for camping as well. I love that they are rechargeable so no need to keep buying more batteries. Definitely one of my smarter purchases.

I contacted the company and even though I was about three weeks past five year warranty, they granted the warranty and I upgraded to the Advanced edition. These are fabulous. I tried shoe lights and magnetic clip-on lights but wasn’t satisfied with either. I love my Knuckle Lights because with just a nudge of one or both lights the beam of light shines where needed. Even with small hands I find it easy and comfortable to carry these 2 lights PLUS pepper spray for runners.

My brother purchased a set of knuckle lights about a year and a half ago for me. My wife purchased another set a month ago. The lights that were purchased a year and a half only last 4 hours on one and 7 hours on the other after a full charge. The new lights lasted a full 11 hours.
Can you explain why one is so much better than the other. I am a long distance runner and I depend heavily on these light for night time trail running. Thank you for your time in answering this question.

They work. Period. You will never want to wear an uncomfortable headlamp again. I used my knuckle lights 100s of times until an injury sidelined me for 50 weeks. They sat in my drawer during that recovery period and when I pulled them back out one of them would not charge. I wrote an email asking for suggestions on how to fix it not imagining or expecting customer representative Dan's response: A NEW PAIR! Dan put them in the mail and I received them within days with a return label for the old pair. It was totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated. I was going to purchase a new pair if he had not replaced them because they are the most safe, effective way to run at night.

I've tried a lot of headlamps for night running and I hate how they flop around. I also dislike the light path they give. A friend recommended these and I love them. So comfortable. The lights are very bright, and very direct able for trails and beat up roads. The charger is small and works quickly. The lights are bright enough that you can share one with a friend. I used them in a Ragnar and they stayed charged for my two night runs plus a friend's run. Highest recommendation.

This past August I signed up to run from my local town of Mattoon IL to Peoria IL (relay style for 150 miles one way)in hopes to raise money and awareness for St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. There is countless towns around IL that participate (about 40 towns this year) in this annual relay style run to congregate in Peoria IL at the St Jude Childrens Hospital. I happened to have had a night time leg of the run to participate in so I pulled out my Knuckle Lights Advanced and everyone loved them. Many runners around me had headlamps on or no light at all. I ended up becoming the front runner/pacer for that particular run and many after that. Word spread quickly about my Knuckle Lights Advanced among the 3 buses and let's just say that they got passed around and used a lot that night. More recently they saved me when running a Ragnar Trail Run following almost flood-like conditions, and I used them in the dark over treacherous boulder gardens and creek crossings at 2am. I really do love KLs. I have to say, as an ASL interpreter who runs with Deaf friends, KLs are wonderful! Headlamps just blind the person you are trying to talk to. LOL Many of my Deaf friends have also bought KL for this reason, you can run with one KL and still have a conversation.
